Vijay posts career-high numbers with Whistle in AP and TS

Vijay's Whistle got off to a very good start in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film has reportedly collected Rs 2.6 crores on its opening day in the twin Telugu states.

This is the career highest number for Vijay in the Telugu states.

Whistle's Telugu theatrical rights are valued at Rs 10 crores and the film needs to maintain the momentum if it is recover the investments.
