         Nobel laureate Abhijit Banerjee spoke to India Today TV News Director Rahul Kanwal in an exclusive interview on the show 'Jab We Met'. Q. What do you think of the current economic slowdown? Why do you think the growth India is down to 5%? And what according to you could be a potential roadmap for India?

A. Mentioning that he is not a macro-economist, Abhijit Banerjee said, "It looks very much like we are in a Keynesian downspin. Meaning, there's not enough demand. People aren't buying food.
