Islamabad, Oct 17 (SocialNews.XYZ) Directly interfering in the internal issues of India, Pakistan has raised the Babri Masjid issue saying it hopes that while taking any decision in the matter, the feelings of Indian Muslims would be respected.
It said that India's attempt to block the flows of rivers will be seen as an "aggressive action", a report in the Pakistani media said.
Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokesman Dr. Mohammad Faisal, in a press briefing on Thursday said: "The Babri Masjid matter is a very sensitive issue. Hopefully, the verdict in the case would be delivered by keeping in mind the sentiments of Indian Muslims. Indian minorities should get their rights".
The spokesman said Pakistan has an "unbroken right" over three western rivers and any attempt to divert their flow will be seen as an "aggressive action" and it will have a right to revert.
Faisal was replying a query about Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement to block the water to Pakistan. "The flow of river water should be continued as per the treaty in this regard," he said.
Speaking on the Kashmir issue he said: "The August 5 decision (abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir) has taken India to a blocked street and it is not finding any way to return. India has become alone and could not figure out how to come out of this situation".
