No change in petrol, diesel prices

New Delhi, Oct 2 (SocialNews.XYZ) There were no change in diesel and petrol prices on Wednesday after two consecutive days of upward revision.

Crude prices in the international markets, however, rose owing to reports of decrease in oil reserved in the US.

On Tuesday, data from the American petroleum institute, the reserve fell by 59 lakh barrels from the previous week.

The benchmark oil price, Brent was trading 0.75 per cent higher at $59. 34 a barrel during the afternoon trade.

Last month the prices surged to over $70 a barrel last month after the attack of Saudi oil facilities which impacted the global crude supply.

According to Indian oil website, prices of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai remained unchanged at Rs 74.61, Rs 77.23, Rs 80.21 and Rs 77.50 per litre.

The diesel prices in the four metros were also unchanged at Rs 67.49, Rs 69.85, Rs 70.76 and Rs 71.30 per litre, respectively.
