Prof K Nageshwar: Allegations of Paper Leaks in AP [HD] (Video)

Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy Monday handed over appointment letters to those who have been selected for village secretariat positions. The idea to create the posts was Reddy’s brainchild, and was announced on 30 May after he was sown-in as the chief minister. Reddy had then said that he would decentralize administration for more accountability and transparency.

A little over 1.26 lakh people have been hired for village and ward secretariats. With the creation of these posts, a total of 11,158 village secretariats and 3,786 ward secretariats will come into existence across the state on October 2, 2019, from when the departments and their services will start.
