‘Just Like That’ set for Busan, Jio MAMI film festivals


Mumbai, Oct 1 (SocialNews.XYZ) Producer Shwetaabh Singh and director Kislay's upcoming film "Just Like That" (Aise Hee) will have its international premiere at the upcoming Busan International Film Festival 2019 and its India premiere at the upcoming Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.

"We all know that Busan is a prestigious platform to showcase films internationally and MAMI is known as one of the most credible film festivals here in our country, so we are happy and overwhelmed that our film is starting its journey at these prestigious film festivals," said Singh, an FTII alumnus.

"Just Like Thata is the story of a widow who starts exploring her life after her husband's death and that in turn becomes the cause of gossip in the neighbourhood and increases familial tension.

"We have worked really hard to make this film and I think it has shaped up really well. We are hoping that we will get good feedback from the audience at Busan and MAMI," he added.

"Just Like Thata is directed by FTII alumnus Kislay. The film features Mohini Sharma, Harish Khanna, Sadhna Singh, Trimala Adhikari, Saumya Jakhmola, Shivam Sharma and Keval Arora.

Busan International Film Festival will be held from October 3 to 12, where the film will compete with films from 13 other countries. At MAMI, being held from October 17 to 24, it will be screened in the India Gold section.
