Mumbai, Sep 30 (SocialNews.XYZ) In the run up to the much-awaited NBA India Games, the league hosted 'Her Time To Play', a global initiative dedicated to championing change on behalf of women. A first of its kind programme, 'Her Time To Play' helps young girls across sectors to actively engage with basketball.
Along with providing a true sense of on-court training, the extension to Jr. NBA also ensures that the participating girls are provided the proper guidance and training for life skills. In association with the Reliance Foundation, 50 girls from RF Jr. NBA participated in the camp.
Former WNBA Player Ebony Hoffman, who led the clinic, shared her experiences with the sport and how basketball shaped her life and helped her not just on-court but off the court.
