Valmiki, which is set to hit the big screens tomorrow, has hit a hurdle in Andhra Pradesh. The collectors of Kurnool and Anantapur districts have ordered theaters exhibitors and distributors not to screen the film in these two districts.
This is due to the protests of Boya community, who are condemning the usage of the title 'Valmiki' for a gangster film.
The latest news is that the makers of Valmiki have made a last-minute change to the film. They have accepted to change the title of the film just hours prior to its release.
The makers have announced 'Gaddalakonda Ganesh' as the new title of the film. They have appealed to Andhra Pradesh high court regarding the same.
