WASHINGTON, Sept. 18, 2019 (Xinhua) — Air China flight 818, operated by a Boeing 777 jet, is seen at Dulles International Airport in Virginia, the United States, on Sept. 17, 2019. An Air China jet bound for Beijing returned safely to Dulles International Airport Tuesday after a possible bird strike, the airline said in a statement. Air China said affected passengers are being placed on other flights or offered overnight accommodation. Dulles is a major international airport servicing the Washington metropolitan area.
