The Jagan Reddy government cancelled the Bandar Port agreement that was signed with the Navayuga Company in the previous Chandrababu Regime. The company challenged the YCP government’s latest decision in AP High Court. The next hearing on the case is to be taken up on September 12. Navayuga lawyer urged the court to cancel the GO 66 issued by Jagan Circar regarding cancellation of port agreement. The Company argued that the government is giving misleading information that there’s no progress in the port works. The government is itself responsible for delay in the works as it is not handing over all the lands as per the agreement.
