Only He Can Save Saaho Now

The massive release of Prabhas Saaho in a high number of screens across the globe has generated 350 crores plus share worldwide in five days. Prabhas fans are feeling very happy hearing the records that Saaho is making at the box office with each passing day. Even the producers of Saaho are giving daily updates regarding the collections of the movie and the hero fans are on cloud nine with celebrations.

But let's come back to reality and have a look into the numbers that Saaho is making at the box office. The producers are smartly just mentioning the total share and its just half of the gross ie total amount that will be going into the total collections of the film. So, in five days Saaho share is 175 crores plus and this also includes overseas collections, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam versions all put together.

If we compare Baahubali 2 collections then Saaho collections are very low and in fact, the numbers are unexpectable with the PAN Indian image that Prabhas achieved with the help of Rajamouli. The argument of budget differences, many other factors and it’s unfair to compare Saaho with Baahubali is one side story of the coin in fans but we can’t deny the film distributors purchased Saaho at a higher price compared to Baahubali 2.

So, in order to breakeven or at least survive with minor losses Saaho has to run houseful until Nani’s Gang Leader releases in cinema halls on 13th September 2019. This is the hard reality that needs to be accepted and only one person who can save the Saaho film distributors right now from bearing losses. The savior we mention is none other than Prabhas and he should be back from holiday before its too late to do the damage control.

The very successful old tricks from the world of cinema when collections are low at the box office is the cast going for promotional tour post-film release, visiting theatres, giving interviews to media and active promotion on social media to keep the buzz alive. If Prabhas kick starts the second phase of promotions that are done post-release that will be very beneficial to film distributors as the Saaho collections are constantly getting low after the long weekend.
