New Delhi, Aug 31 (IANS) Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan on Friday laid the foundation stone for Sports Injury expansion project at Safdarjung Hospital. The minister directed the National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) to complete the work before the deadline.

Dr Harsh Vardhan stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, there is a renewed focus on sports.

"We are aggressively moving towards setting up state-of-the-art health facilities with the best equipment, techniques and buildings. These facilities are comparable to the very best in the world."
