The Hyderabad chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), the global entrepreneurship community headquartered in the Silicon Valley through this membership expects a rapid growth in the startup ecosystem it is fostering.
Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT), Government of Telangana along with Suresh Reddy, TiE Hyderabad President, launched the 'select members' series.
Entry to 'select members' is through a membership fee, targeted to growth-stage startup founders and co-founders.
Invitation to membership will be after a thorough selection process and interview of eligible founders, and self-nominations open to exceptional entrepreneurial talents who have propelled their venture achieving high growth level.
TiE is looking to invite energetic entrepreneurs backed by new age innovations and successful brands built in the recent times.
Jayesh Ranjan said the government continued to create novel policies and programmes designed to encourage entrepreneurial development, to stimulate and create new startups through various initiatives and partnering with organisations like TiE Hyderabad, universities and other institutions that support entrepreneurship.
"There is a growing tribe of fledgling entrepreneurs, successful and yearning to provide a helping hand to the early-stage startups.
