New Delhi, Aug 2 (IANS) The Monsoon Session of the Delhi Assembly is scheduled to start from August 22, the Aam Aadmi Party government said Friday.
The three-day session concluding on August 26 -- with the weekend in between -- is likely to see financial allocation and revised budget for unauthorised colonies, proposed free travel for women in buses and metro, and no electricity charges for up to 200 units, among others.
"The Delhi Cabinet, in its meeting on Friday approved the convening of the second part of the eighth session of the Legislative Assembly of National Capital Territory of Delhi from August 22 to August 26," a government statement said.
