On behalf of Telangana government for the construction of Amaravathi, KCR is reportedly seriously considering to donate Rs 100 crore to Jagan. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao wants to take his 'friendship' with his AP counterpart YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to the next level.

On resolving pending bifurcation-related issues and sharing of Godavari water between AP and TS, to hold talks with Jagan, in September, when he visits Vijayawada, KCR wants to announce this donation. when he attended the foundation-laying ceremony of Amaravathi along with PM Modi on the invitation of then AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu, he already revealed that he thought of donating Rs 100 crore to Amaravathi in October 2015.

He wanted to announce the donation in the public meeting in Amaravathi from the stage itself while giving his speech but backtracked after he learned that PM Modi was not giving a single rupee and brought only mud from Parliament and water from Yamuna river for Amaravathi according to KCR.

It will not look good if he donates Rs 100 crore in his capacity as CM in front of PM Modi, who is bigger in stature and who brought just mud and water, he added. With a feeling that this will go a long way in establishing 'cordial relations' between governments and people of Telugu States, KCR now wants to donate this amount to Jagan.
