The TRS doesn’t have any leaders who can do the job, while all the parties have their own spokespersons who can represent their party views on any important issue. Between the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and other political parties in the state, there is a difference.

On behalf of the party on crucial issues, some TRS leaders used to address press conferences and attend television debates, till recent. For explaining the party views, the TRS has not been sending anybody to the TV debates nor is anybody available to the media, for the last few weeks.

On any issue, TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao told the party leaders not to attend any television debates or speak to the media, a couple of months ago. Causing embarrassment to the party, he has taken the decision in the wake of some leaders inadvertently speaking against the party line on important issues.

As a result of this, the media has not been able to take the versions of the TRS leaders in every issue. Even on important developments like a discussion between two Telugu states on Godavari water-sharing etc, the stand of the party has not been known, except official statements from the TRS government. Now KCR took this decision to make his party men the most capable speakers in the state who would be perceived as most talkative and witty for the needs of the party.
