Vijay Deverakonda comments on mixed response

Vijay Deverakonda said that he and the director of Dear Comrade, Bharat Kanna wanted the film to be slow and simple. "We wanted the film to run at its own pace," he said.

Vijay acknowledged the mixed response the film had garnered, saying it is understandable that a film like Dear Comrade opens to divided opinions.

Interestingly, Vijay seemed to be happy about the reception Dear Comrade has been receiving.

Dear Comrade has pretty decent advance bookings for the weekend. The real test will begin from Monday.
