Panaji, July 22 (IANS) The Goa assembly on Monday congratulated the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) scientists for the successful launch of Chandrayaan-2 from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh
Chandrayaan-2 is India's second lunar exploration mission which took off from the Sriharikota Space Centre.
"This House would like to congratulate ISRO scientists on the success of this mission. This is an extremely proud moment for all Indians," Speaker Rajesh Patnekar said.
"Great day for India, a proud moment for all Indians as @ISRO successfully launches #Chandrayaan2. I congratulate #ISRO scientists for this remarkable achievement," Chief Minister Pramod Sawant also congratulated the ISRO scientists in a tweet.
