Jamshedpur, July 4 (IANS) Jamshedpur FC on Thursday announced the signing of 18-year-old defender Jitendra Singh from I-League side Indian Arrows. The youngster has penned a deal for a term of three years with the Jharkhand-based side.
Born in Manipur, the 18-year-old has already represented the national team in the FIFA Under-17 world cup which was held in 2017. He also represented the Under-20 national side.
He has been a part of the Indian Arrows squad since 2017 and has played over 30 I-League matches.
Jitendra becomes the fourth recruit for Jamshedpur FC from Indian Arrows along with Narender Gahlot, Amarjit Singh and Aniket Yadav.
On signing with Jamshedpur FC, Jitendra said, "I am really excited to wear the Jamshedpur FC jersey and play for the club. I would want to give the best for my team and for the fans. I am happy to be a part of the Jamshedpur FC family."
