After 2019 elections, who don’t know Prashant Kishor? With his accurate pulse over the voter’s opinions and requirements, he was the one who was believed to be playing a key role in the victories of Narendra Modi in 2014 elections and Jagan Mohan Reddy in 2019 elections.
Most of the political strategists play they role staying in the background. But Kishor happens to be not of such type as he is known to be one of the political strategists who are eager to get into the headlines every now and then.
According to recent reports, Mamata Banerjee seems to have asked Kishor to help her for the next elections. But this might be heartburn to someone. This is because, Kishor happens to play a key role as Bihar Chief Minister's party member an ally of BJP, against which Mamatha Banerjee wants him to work.
Kishor started his career as a public health activist. WHO got attracted to his efforts and has sent him to United Nations traineeship. From there with a break in India, Kishor met Rahul Gandhi and have given him a blueprint of politics and his strategies.
However, Rahul felt that Kishor must pursue what he has the expertise and has neglected his advice. Later after getting detail about health conditions in India during his work, he wrote a letter to Manmohan Singh stating the condition of health in India. But Manmohan Singh too neglected him.
However, the copy of the same letter was sent by him to the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi. Modi was shocked by the reports and analysis made by Kishor and hired him in October 2011 as Social Sector Policy Advisor. From there on he had shown his talent and skills. With all his hard work he shaped himself into what we see now.
