Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy gave a rude shock to his predecessor and Telugu Desam Party supremo Chandrababu Naidu on the second day of the Assembly session. After the election of Thammineni Sitharam as the speaker of the Assembly on Thursday, Jaganmohan Reddy said some of the MLAs from the TDP were in touch with him and were looking forward to his clearance for switching over loyalties.
“There are some MLAs from the TDP, who are in touch with me. If I say yes, Chandrababu Naidu would lose his Leader of Opposition position in no time,” Jaganmohan Reddy told the House much to the shock of the TDP leadership. The TDP has 23 MLAs including Chandrababu Naidu in the present Assembly.
