Exclusive : Jagan met Modi at Tirupati on a purpose

The video went viral in which AP’s new Chief Minister met modi at Tirupati and tried to touch Modi’s feet but the PM resisted. Everyone has over opinions on this but Jagan has other intentions by doing so. Till now, Jaganmohan Reddy kept drawing everyone's attention by showing the clarity he have on each & every aspect related to the state.

In then manner Jagan has collected complete details of the funds that State Government has to get from the Centre. He prepared the whole representation to submit to the Prime Minister o his trip to Tirupati. As per the Jagan's report, Union Government should pay Rs 74,169 crore to AP which is facing financial crisis post bifurcation.

 

In this representation, it was mentioned that the center must offer Rs. 350cr for seven backward districts in AP. During the last 2 years no such payment was made due as Chandra Babu turned against the Center. If Section 50, Section 51 related to Taxes in the AP Reorganisation Act 2014 is amended, AP will receive Rs 3,820 crore in addition.

There are many promises that the centre need to keep such as compensating on revenue deficit under which Rs 18,969 crore is still pending. Including that, as per the Bifurcation Act, Bundhelkhand-like Package has to be offered to backward districts in AP. Which means, Rs 23,300 must still be released.
