It is known that the shooting of 'Sye Raa' is not going as per schedule. Once they say that it is due to Chiru and another time director Surender Reddy was blamed for the halt. But the inside info says that it is none other than Producer, Ram Charan is the major cause for the delay of this movie.
As the film’s budget is said to have crossed Rs 200 crore and Ram Charan is trying to recover as much as possible from the theatrical and satellite rights of the Telugu version. It is said that Charan is expecting to sell Sye Raa’s theatrical for a whopping amount of Rs 90 crore approximately. With the satellite rights, the film might make around Rs 120 crore ahead of the release.
As the price is quite high, no buyers are showing interest to buy this movie and even this is a historic movie which has no good record in Tollywood in terms of collections. There is a reason behind Megastar’s comeback movie Khaidi 150 to turn out as a blockbuster even though it is a remake because of the enthusiasm in people to see Megastar after so many years.
But this time RC seems to have less hope on the outcome and want to cash as much as possible from the theatrical and satellite rights. Even though the film may not be able to recover its production costs, the film will make a decent pre-release business.
On the other side, Cherry was busy in RRR shooting which is being directed by Rajamouli. For a multi-million project like 'Sye Raa,’ the producer would be available to look after everything which fails to happen for this movie which brings them even more trouble, say some sources. So amidst all these circumstances revolved around Mega Power Star, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy directed by Surender Reddy will release on October 2 in multiple languages.
