After West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi met PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss the state's 'condition', Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee gave a stern warning to the Centre, asserting that she will not tolerate any attempts to topple her government.
She said that anyone trying to break Bengal government will not be "spared". Mamata added, "An injured tiger is more dangerous than a dead tiger." The cadres of Trinamool Congress (that is led by Mamata Banerjee) and the BJP workers in West Bengal have been clashing violently as the race to gain a political advantage (upper hand) in the state gains momentum.
Meanwhile TMC MP Aparupa Poddar on Sunday made some sensational comments claiming that she received a letter which allegedly says ₹1 crore will be given to see West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee dead. The letter reportedly has morphed picture of Banerjee, in which she's labelled as a witch. It has been signed in the name of Rajveer Killa and a mobile number has also been mentioned.
