BSP chief Mayawati has announced her party will fight the by-polls alone in Uttar Pradesh, breaking alliance with SP. She added the "break is temporary" and that the parties might get back together if she's satisfied with the steps SP chief Akhilesh Yadav takes.
She added that SP had failed to get their supporters' vote during the Lok Sabha elections. In the meeting, Mayawati opined alliance with SP is useless. She expressed the feeling that BSP Votes transferred to SP but Yadav votes didn't transfer to BSP. The Dalit Leader mocked Akhilesh saying he couldn't make his wife retain her MP Seat.
Now, with the hope of Pawan pulling some seats in Andhra Pradesh, Mayawati formed an alliance with the JSP Chief but he failed to win in both of his constituencies. With no scope for Pawan Kalyan to get even closer to YSRCP in this situation, Will she end the alliance with Jana Sena or ignore it ?
On the other side, after BSP supremo Mayawati announced that her party will fight the Assembly by-polls alone in UP, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said his party is ready to fight the 11 seats on its own. Akhilesh added, "If the coalition is broken, I'll reflect deeply on it and if the coalition isn't there in the by-elections, SP will prepare for the elections."
