Western Seaboard: The successful ‘Co-operative Engagement’ firing of Medium Range Surface to Air Missile (MRSAM), was jointly carried out by Indian Navy, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Israel Aerospace Industries and was undertaken by Indian Naval Ships Kochi and Chennai wherein missiles of both ships were controlled by one ship to intercept different aerial targets at extended ranges, on Western Seaboard in the Arabian Sea.
