Overseen by the UAE Embassy in Cairo, the programme includes the deployment of 1,400 food baskets in Halayeb & Shalateen areas; 2,800 in North & South Sinai; and 34,600 across villages in the governorates of Aswan, Luxor, Qina, Sohaj, Asuit, Al Wadi Al Jadid, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Menia, Beheira, Kafr Al Sheikh, Dakahlyia, Gharbyia, Sharqyia, Monofyia, and Marsa Matrouh; in addition to 1200 baskets across Western Desert Oases.

The Foundation has over the recent period managed to launch micro-small enterprises addressing underprivileged households in Egypt in addition to the restoration of scores of deliberated houses and providing electricity and potable water services to meet the essential needs of lowest-income villages.
