Kolkata, May 8 (IANS) Urging the people to remove Prime Minister Narendra Modi from power, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday described him and the Bharatiya Janata Party as the "biggest threat" to the country.
"Narendra Modi and BJP are the biggest threat to the nation. Remember this if you want peace," Banerjee said while addressing a public rally in West Midnapore district's Debra.
The Trinamool supremo alleged that the Modi regime did not give the due respect to Bengal and was also trying to divide people in the name of religion.
"If Narendra Modi is not removed, there will be no freedom, democracy, no religion or no caste in the country as they will change the Constitution," she said.
"Also, there will be no elections during this fascist government," she said.
"We want leaders like Gandhiji, Netaji and Babasaheb Ambedkar and Rajendra Prasad," she added.
