Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday instructed officials concerned that relief and rehabilitation, and distribution of financial assistance programme for the displaced persons who lost land under Mallanna Sagar reservoir should be completed on a war-footing.
The Chief Minister said the process of payment of compensation for the displaced persons had almost been completed. The remaining few payments should be completed within a few days and a report be sent to the High Court by May 11, Chandrashekhar Rao said in his instructions to the officials.
