In the run-up to Monday’s ‘Chalo Intermediate Board’ protest rally, leaders of Opposition parties on Sunday met with the families of three Intermediate students who committed suicide. Also on Sunday, State Congress president N Uttam Kumar Reddy appealed to his party cadres and people to join the protest demanding a re-evaluation of all answer sheets as well as immediate dismissal of Education Minister from the Cabinet. AICC General Secretary RC Khuntia wanted to know why no action was being taken despite a three-member committee admitting mistakes were made by the Board.
