Yesterday's nail-biting match between CSK and RCB made MS Dhoni become the first Indian to hit 200 sixes in the IPL. He scored 84 runs from 48 balls, however, it was insufficient as CSK lost to RCB by 1 run at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Dhoni has hit 7 sixes in yesterday's match which took his tally of sixes to 203 in the all-time list of maximums in the IPL. Chennai's Suresh Raina and Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma follows the maximum sixes table after Dhoni. Moreover, Dhoni also completed 4000 runs captain in the IPL, after Virat Kohli.
Dhoni, in his post-match presentation, said it was "a good game". "We did really well to restrict them to a below-par total, but we needed some good batting at the top. Once you know the opposition attack, you gotta stick to your plans and if you lose too many wickets upfront that puts pressure and the middle order really can't go after the bowlers from the start".
