4 Telugu films in the final round of National Awards

 

66th National Film Awards are around the corner and Tollywood like the last year has laid very high expectations to win more awards. In the 65th National film awards the mighty “Baahubali 2 The Conclusion” has won awards in three categories making every Telugu person around the world proud. The winner's list for the 66th National Film Awards will be announced next week on 23rd April 2018 and Telugu film fraternity has kept its figures crossed.

There will be a lot of privacy maintained in the National film award committee and surprises are unfolded in the last minute. As per sources, a piece of small information regarding Tollywood is out and the films which have entered into the final round for best regional film is hinted. As per the buzz, Ram Charan – Sukumar’s “Rangasthalam”, Keerthy Suresh – Nag Ashwin’s “Mahanati”, Vijay Devarakonda – Parasuram’s “Geetha Govindam” and Anumolu Sushanth - Rahul Ravindran’s “Chi La Sow” are the four films in the final round of National Film Awards.

Many points are considered by the National award committee while announcing the winners and also box office numbers, critical acclaim with public appreciations are taken into consideration. In the 65th National Film Awards, the best feature film Telugu award is won by “The Ghazi Attack” and in the year 2016, it was Tharun Bhaskar's “Pelli Choopulu” that was rewarded the award. Every year the least expected film has taken the cake of winning the award and always left many in shock.
