Actually, MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai has to host this year’s IPL finals as Chennai Super Kings were the Champions of the 11th edition. But the disputes between the Madras Cricket Association and the Municipal Corporation of Chennai haven’t solved yet.
BCCI stated MCA to solve the issue as early as possible or else Hyderabad will host this year IPL finals as they were the Runner-ups last year. There are three empty stands in the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai which are yet to be permitted by the municipal Corporation as it is against the code of safety of their laws.
Now, Chennai management is worried because their team will lose the home advantage in the IPL finals if Chennai reaches IPL finals this year. There are fewer chances for Chennai to host the finals and Hyderabad would be the one to get the chance this year. All the three Qualifiers will be held at Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore.
