During this intense pre-poll period and with two days for Assembly elections in Andhra, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu got himself into problems with this latest leaked video. In that video, Chandra Babu and ABN Chief Radha Krishna were seen to conspire to make the people forget the name of the Late CM, founder of the Telugu Desam Party completely.
They were seen discussing how to change the name of the Aarogya Shree scheme as it is is the only scheme that holds the name of the legendary Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao. Seems like attempts have been made to make people forget about the Legendary Personality. People who had seen the video were shell shocked to see Chandrababu Naidu referring to NTR as 'Vadu' and saying the public has forgotten him already.
Former AP Home Minister Vasanth Nageswara Rao opined true colors of Chandrababu Naidu have been exposed with the leaked video. He appealed NTR Family Members to open their eyes at least now to safeguard the self-respect of the great man.
The chief of AP BJP, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana said, 'NTR was killed, his ideologies have been cremated by forming an alliance with Congress and now they had gone to the extent of removing his name from the history'.
But for their part TDP is in a damage control mode. TDP spokesperson, Lanka Dinakar has strongly condemned the mudslinging done by Jagan through his media outlet. He said that TDP was trying to come up with a scheme which would be better than the YSR's Aarogya sree. He also added that ABN MD Mr. Radha Krishna, in an effort to improve the scheme, has suggested some changes but never implied anything about NTR.
"But Sakshi media is resorting to false propaganda," he said. "TDP has brought nearly 1000 diseases under the ambit of Aarogyasree and had changed the name of the Scheme from NTR's Aarogya sree to NTR Vaidya seva. If there were any malafide intentions, why would we name our flagship scheme as Anna canteens?" said the TDP leader. Citing NTR Videsi Vidya scheme, he said that several schemes of the party are named after the great leader NTR and added that TDP always walks in the footsteps of the great leader.
How bad this video is going to do for Chandra Babu on 11th. Let’s wait for the consequences.
