Even they haven't won the IPL trophy yet, Royal Challengers Bangalore will be considered as the star team every season. Thanks to the loyal fan base they have as they support their team for the core of their heart ignoring the disastrous performance of their team in each and every season. Even they managed to reach the IPL finals thrice, they were unable to lay hands on the trophy so far. Here are the reasons that might probably went wrong for RCB till now.

First of all, Royal challengers lack a specialist foreign bowler who could deliver them good especially at death overs. In every auction, they go far star batsmen and potential all-rounders but couldn’t make their bowling unit much stronger. In shorter format, You definitely need at least two great bowlers to take you offshore while RCB has none. Even Starc and Tim Southee were not consistent so far.

Moving on, the positions in the batting line up are not yet certain and fixed. Kohli opens, bats at 3 and Devilliers moves up and down regularly. Every season they come up with different openers and combinations and players who take their time to settle in the league. RCB lacks a good finisher and consistent middle order batsman who can stop the flow of wickets. If Kohli fails to rectify these cons, it would turn out as an another miserable year for the team who need to win 8 out of their remaining 10 games in this season.
