Srinagar, March 31 (IANS) After two days of inclement weather, it was a cool and sunny morning in the Kashmir Valley on Sunday as the Met office forecast fair weather during the next five days.
"Weather is likely to remain dry in the Valley and the Jammu division during the next five days", a Met official said.
Minimum temperature was recorded 7 degrees Celsius in Srinagar while it was 3.0 and minus 0.8 in Pahalgam and Gulmarg, respectively.
Leh town recorded minus 1.0 degree Celsius and Kargil minus 4.0 as the minimum temperature, while Drass town of the Ladakh division recorded minus 7.7.
In the Jammu region, Jammu city recorded 16.8, Katra town 15.4, Batote 9.4, Bannihal 8.3 and Bhaderwah 7.1 as the night's lowest temperatures.
