BJP chief Amit Shah filed his nomination from Gandhinagar constituency on Saturday and said, "If BJP is taken away from my life, only 'zero' will be left. Whatever I have learned and given to the country belongs to BJP."
Advani Shah is contesting the Lok Sabha elections for the first time. Shah said the above words while addressing a rally Naranapura area of Ahmedabad, prior to filing the nomination, Advani was not at the rally.
Before filing the nomination, shah paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel, followed by a road show from DRH Regency hotel to Patikar Chowk in Ghatlodia area. He said he had started in 1982 as a booth-level worker and was now president of BJP.
