Earlier, YS Vijayamma and YS Sharmila campaigned for YSRCP in 2012 where Jagan was in Prison at that time in united Andhra. For the coming elections in AP, the YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's mother YS Vijayamma, sister YS Sharmila will be beginning the elections campaign from Friday.
On Thursday, after paying the tribute to late CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy at YSR ghat at Idupulapaya in Kadapa district, YS Vijayamma has started the campaign. As part of campaigning, YS Vijayamma will be conducting the roadshows, public meeting in Prakasam district on Friday.

On the other hand, YS Sharmila will kickstart Bus Yatra from Tadepalli in Mangalagiri Constituency. She will console the Farmers who lost their fertile lands in Undavalli. Kurnool Sitting MP Butta Renuka would campaign in Mangalagiri along with Sharmila. Local BC Leader Kandru Kamala is going to accompany Sharmila during the tour. As per the reports, YS Sharmila will tour 50 constituencies and YS Vijayamma will tour 40 constituencies as part of their election campaigning.
