TDP leadership has announced the final list of the candidates for assembly elections this year. There are some surprises in that list and even some edits from the previous list made by Chandrababu. This may have resulted from the feedback of the first list and who knows, this final list would have been influenced by Jagan’s or Pawan’s strategical seat sharing.
This list came out at midnight around 1 AM. The TDP sitting MLAs, Meesala Geetha from Vizianagaram, Yamilibala from Singanamala, Chandbasha from Kadiri, Modiyam Srinivasarao Polavaram, SV Mohan Reddy from Kurnool were not joining the election race this time.
There were some formidable changes visible in the candidates for Lok Sabha seats too. Veturi Sivaramaraju's name was first announced in the first list but is now moved to Naraspur for LS seat. Nandyal sitting MLA Brahmananda Reddy is contesting from the same constituency again.
Kavali EX-MLA Beeda Masthan Rao was shifted to Nellore LS and Nellore former MP was offered Kavali MLA seat. Bhuma Akhila Priya is joining the elections from Allagadda. Ashok Gajapathiraju's daughter Aditi is going to contest from Vizianagaram assembly seat.
