Team India’s captain and one of the world’s best batsman shared his association with his IPL franchise, Royal Challengers Bangalore at the launch of the RCB’s official App. "Playing for RCB is a special feeling. I can't imagine to get separated or play for another team in the IPL," said Virat.

When he was asked about not winning a single IPL trophy despite the star players his team possessed, he replied that they were good as a team but some wrong decisions on the field cost them much and the team that took a better decision ended up winning. He was placed in the National team after leading U-19 team to victory.

He was in RCB since 2008 and under Kohli’s captaincy Bangalore reached to Final once and lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad in a high scoring game. This team will face the defending champions Chennai Super Kings in the 12th edition of the IPL opener.
