Here comes the good news to those who have ingrained the Hyderabad metro as their regular mode of transport. The long-awaited route Ameerpet-Hitech City is soon going to commence.
Hyderabad Metro Rail authorities have confirmed the news and are currently working on final operations to open the 10km route. The Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety has given the green signal to begin Ameerpet-HiTech City route only after few trails in the beginning. This new train will be hugely beneficial to IT people who travel long distances to Madhapur, Banjara Hills, and HiTech City areas. It is also intended to curb traffic hassles, leaving the roads much open to others.
The relevant metro stations are located at Madhuranagar, Yousufguda, Jubilee Hills Check post, Peddamma Gudi, Durgam Cheruvu and HiTech City. Two corridors will be operating from LB. Nagar to Miyapur which is 29kms or Nalgole to the HiTech City of 27kms. The Chief electrical inspector of Hyd metro, DVS Raju, said that statuary operations of the train has been conducted last week and will be open to the public in the next few days.
