Speaking on the occasion, the film's cast and crew members thanked the '118' hero for launching the teaser.
Comedian Bhadram said, "Just as the Pulasa fish swims against the tide, we humans have to swim against the tide in our lives. That is our 'Edhureetha'. We are all special because we are fighters. We have seen Shravan as a baddie who gets the beatings in film after film. But, in 'Edhureetha', you will see him in a mature role. Nobody else could have done this kind of a role. He is a great performer. Director Balamurugan is a weak man for the naked eye. But he is a very strong technician. He is going to become a star director. All the actors and technicians have worked really hard on the movie. The visuals are simply wonderful. You see the names of every actor on our poster. It's a rare thing."
Cinematographer Vijay Arpudharaj said, "I want to thank my producer and the entire cast, especially the hero, for this movie. I thank director Balamurugan for giving me the opportunity to work on a story like this."
Fight master Ramakrishna said, "We have seen Shravan only in negative roles so far. In this film, you will see him as the hero. The biggest strength of the movie are the characterizations, which are thrilling. The scenes are not regular. It's an edge-of-the-seat film. It was great working with director Balamurugan even though he doesn't know Telugu and I don't know Tamil."
Meghana said, "My special thanks to Shravan. He is looking very young in the movie. We are sure of the movie's success".
Jia Sharma (of 'Arjun Reddy' fame) said, "The entire team has been very supportive throughout. The director is the captain of the ship and Balamurugan has done a great job. I hope you people have liked our teaser."
Leona Lishoy said, "I must say that 'Edhureetha' is a mind-blowing movie. Everybody who has worked on this movie has put in their heart and soul. It's surely going to be one of my all-time favourites. I thank the director for believing in me. Thanks to this movie, I have come to know my strengths and flaws. I will always be eager to work with Balamurugan. I thank the cinematographer for making me look so pretty in every frame. Never before have I looked this pretty. Shravan's performance will blow your mind away. It was an incredible team to work with on my very first Telugu movie."
Director Balamurugan said, "I hope you guys loved the Teaser. I thank my producer who never compromised on quality and gave us everything that was needed to make the best product. You will surely love our hero Shravan. He gave his 100 percent for the movie."
Producer Bogari Lakshmi Narayana said, "It's as if the title was named after my life. I have been through so many obstacles throughout my life. Coming to the making of this movie, it taught me how hard it's to make a movie. I would be ready to pay even Rs 2000 to watch a movie after this. 'Edhureetha' is a product of one year of effort. I have known Shravan's father since my days in Siddipet. It was great working with him. He has been of constant support."
Shravan said, "I thank Kalyan Ram garu for releasing the Teaser as soon as we requested him. Coming to the title, my father was shocked when he learned that we have chosen 'Edhureetha' as the title. He spoke about the NT Rama Rao garu movie by the same name. It released in 1977. I am saying it emotionally to NTR garu that we will do full justice to his title. Coming to the storyline, 'Edhureetha' is about an emotional story between a father and his son. I had always believed that I am a very responsible father to my two sons. But after this movie, I realize that a father doesn't become responsible just because he educates his children, gives them money, etc. A true father has to take part in feeding his children, he has to cook for them, spend time for them, etc. Both mother and father have equal responsibilities. 'Edhureetha' is about a forgetful father. The film takes an emotional turn at a point. I will always be thankful to Kodi Ramakrishna garu and Rajamouli garu. The latter gave me a big break with 'Sye'. He is the most dedicated director I have ever worked with. After him, it's only Balamurugan in whom I have seen so much commitment. I see producer Lakshmi Narayana garu as a father figure. You will hug and kiss your child after watching our movie. It will touch every heart. It was on the advice of Ram-Lakshman duo that we roped in Ramakrishna as the fight master. He has done complete justice to the emotional fights. Working with Master Charan was like working with a brother. He has played my son in the movie."
