New Delhi, March 11 (IANS) It was a pleasant Monday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 12.4 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average, the Met said.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy. There is possibility of light rain or thundershowers accompanied by strong surface winds during the day," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m., was recorded at 72 per cent. There was no rain in the last 24 hours in the city.
The maximum temperature was expected to hover around 27 degrees Celsius. The Met also said the maximum was unlikely to cross the 26-28 range during the week.
The overall Air Quality Index (AQI) of Delhi at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 125, which is moderate.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 27 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 10.8 degrees Celsius, both two notches below normal.
