This is a bold move from Pawan as his first candidate for Assembly elections was Pitani Balakrishna, a BC and this time he announced his first Parliamentary candidate as D.M.R Sekhar who is an SC candidate. This tells us about his own kinda politics which are caste-free.
"After a diligent process, the general body of our party has finalized the first list of candidates for 32 Assembly and 9 Parliamentary constituencies," Pawan tweeted earlier. He said that the names of these candidates will be announced on Tuesday or Wednesday.
The leaders of Left Parties, with whom Pawan decided to form alliance met him on Monday and discussed seat adjustments. The Communist Party of India (CPI) and the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) are reportedly seeking 26 Assembly and four Lok Sabha seats.
