Hours after the announcement of the polls schedule by the Election Commission, Naidu told a news conference that he was confident that the people would give a fresh mandate to his TDP. He stated that his party is ready and all set for the simultaneous assembly and Lok Sabha polls that are going to be held on April 11th.
Votes will be polled for all 175 Assembly seats and 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state. The TDP Chief expressed his confidence by saying that his government did remarkably well in the last 5 years despite the failure in promises given by center and the troubles caused by the neighboring state, Telangana.
He listed out all the achievements of his government and said that the per capita income in the state is double in the last five years. He also claimed that in no other state the income of farmers increased by 128 percent. On the other side, opposition leader Jagan has to sill respond on the EC schedule.
