India is unstoppable in terms of pollution and no proper measures have been taken to control it. As per the recent study of IQ Air visual and Greenpeace, 7 out Top 10 and 22 out of Top 30 Most Polluted Cities are in India. This shows the deterioration of air quality at a rapid pace.
Gurugram in New Delhi tops the list of most polluted followed by Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Bhiwadi in 2,4,5 positions respectively. Faisalabad in Pakistan attained the 3rd position.

Notably, no South Indian cities entered into Top-10. High Air Pollution leads to loss of lives and high medical expenditure. India's health care expenditure and productivity loss due to air pollution is up to 8.5 percent of GDP.
