New Delhi, March 4 (IANS) China-based smartphone maker Realme on Monday refreshed its lineup in India with the new "Realme 3" budget handset, priced at Rs 8,999 for the 3GB RAM+32GB internal storage variant.
The smartphone is also available in 4GB RAM+64GB ROM configuration with 6.2-inch dewdrop display and triple SIM card slots with expandable storage up to 256GB in radiant blue, dynamic black and classic black colours.
"In the last 10 months, we have sold 5 million units. To celebrate this milestone, we will offer the 3GB and 4GB variants for Rs 8,999 and Rs 10,999, respectively, for the next 1 million users," said Madhav Sheth, CEO, Realme India.
The device is powered by artificial intelligence (AI) master MediaTeK Helio P70 processor and comes with a 4230mAh battery, thus, giving users the longest battery life in this segment.
It is equipped with a 13MP selfie camera along with 13MP+2MP sensors at the back with "Nightscape" and "Chroma Boost" mode, both first in this category, the company said in a statement.
The smartphone runs on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie.
With Hyper Boost technology, "Realme 3" comes with game optimisation functions such as performance mode, do-not-disturb mode and brightness lock to improve heavy gaming performances, the company claimed.
The device goes on sale on March 12 on Realme.com and Flipkart.
