New Delhi, March 2 (IANS) Delhi and the National Capital Region on Saturday witnessed light rains scattered across the area with the Met predicting more thundershowers and hailstorm later.
The drizzle though did not impact the mercury. The minimum temperature here was recorded at 13 degrees Celsius, the season's average.
"Thunderstorm with hail is expected to occur during the day," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 98 per cent.
The maximum temperature was expected to hover around 22 degrees Celsius.
Friday's maximum temperature settled at 24.1 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average while the minimum was recorded at 6.8 degrees Celsius, six notches below season's average.
