New Delhi, Feb 22 (IANS) It was a warm and misty Friday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 16.0 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average, the weather office said.
"There was mist and shallow fog in the morning. The sky will mainly be clear in the day with haze and smog thereafter," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 27 degrees Celsius. No rain was recorded on Thursday. Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 94 per cent.
Thursday's maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 28.1 degrees Celsius, three degrees above the normal, and 13.2 degrees Celsius, two notches higher than the average, respectively.
