New Delhi, Feb 20 (IANS) The national capital on Wednesday received light rains with the minimum temperature settling at 14.5 degree Celsius, three notches above the season's average. The city may witness similar weather on Thursday, India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said.
According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet, many parts of Delhi-NCR will receive light to moderate rain and thundershower on Thursday.
Similar weather conditions are likely to prevail till February 22 with on and off rains in the northern region. "There are also bright chances of hailstorm at one or two places, but the intensity will remain on the lower side," Skymet said.
According to the IMD, the city recorded 1.6 mm rainfall on Wednesday while the humidity was 96 per cent. The day's maximum temperature was recorded at 21.2 degree Celsius, four notches below the season's average.
